The AC GT drive system is more efficient compared to DC systems doing the same job and does not rely on air flow through the motor for cooling. The AC motor is enclosed and brushless, generating less noise at comparable operating speeds. Taylor-Dunn offers five models with the AC drive system; and, AC powered products are available with 48VAC or 72VAC and with all options of the model chosen.
